TITLE: Changes in Gas Sensor Technologies
Gas-Detection sensor technology has been evolving at a rapid pace. Key changes in gas detection
technologies and platforms that are relevant to safety managers will be discussed. Particular emphasis
will be placed on the trends of miniaturization, selectivity, and the increased use of IR technology and its
benefits. presented by Blaise Champagne
Biography:
Blaise Champagne has been involved in the safety industry for over 13 years specializing in the area of
gas detection. After finishing an advanced degree in Chemical Physics in 1994, Blaise joined Draeger AG
in Luebeck Germany as their International Portables Product Manager. He returned to the states in
2001 to work at Draeger Safety’s North American Headquarters. Since then, he has been in various
positions with Draeger involving sales and marketing and is currently the Mid Atlantic Sales Manager for
Industry.

We will be meeting at our regular time of 6:00pm at Roma's.

At the second light, turn left onto Williamsburg Rd. (Route 60 East)
