President's Welcome

       Welcome back to the Richmond-Hopewell Section of ISA.  It is with great pleasure 
	that my fellow Officers and I invite you to join us for another year of educational
	programs and socializing. Nancy Shiflett, Vice-President and Program Chair, is filling
	the 2008- 2009 program schedule with what promises to be an informative and enjoyable 
	year. Each program is sure to extend our knowledge of Automation and prompt continued 
	professional growth in our field.  Additionally, we can all be proud of contributing to
	the continued development of the Automation field by awarding $2,000 in scholarships 
	during the past year.

       Our meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month, September through May 
	(with the exception of no meeting in December).  Come join us and take advantage of the
	opportunity to network with fellow Automation professionals and colleagues.  We meet at
	Roma's Italian Restaurant in Sandston beginning at 6 PM unless a site tour is offered in
	place of our normal meeting.  Please check our website (www.isa-va.org) regularly for 
	up-to-date information on meeting topics and locations.

       Thank you for your interest and involvement in the ISA.  We look forward to seeing 
	everyone at the meetings.
